I found it rather boring, really.

Overall, very fun and addictive!
First off, I'd like to say that I am a huge Mausland fan. I still play Aggressive Alpine Skiing all the time.
This game was just as quirky and addictive as all their other works, and I enjoyed it very much:
Graphics: 9 - The graphics where simple and fun, cartoonishly exaggerated and although original, always felt like you knew them from somewhere before. Nicely done.
Style: 10 - You don't see many games where this kind of spin it put on it, and I especially loved the combination of action and RPG elements. Was almost a 9 for the 2 minor spelling errors ("Rosty" instead of "Rusty" and "Acess" instead of "Access") , but whatever, it added to the charm.
Sound: 8 - The main level's music loop seemed a bit off, but no big deal, and when fighting the Bison-Demon, that "Yelp!" noise got pretty annoying after about the 10th time I fought him, but overall the sounds fit right in with the theme.
Interactivity: 7 - Although the controls where good, it seemed like it was easy to get the game "stuck" halfway between modes, especially when using the ring at the musician guy's house. At one point I was staring at an empty house and the arrow keys apparently where moving me around the game regular game world in the background, because somehow I could talk to people as thought I was walking by them. Another time I got stuck without the ability to use any keys except the R key for the ring, which would take me into the demon house from anywhere. Loading a saved game seemed to clear it up, so save before you do important things like boss fights (you should anyway!) and don't try to do 20 things at once because the game can get "confused".
Humor: 9 - A crazy derby-wearing, pizza-delivering ostrich runs around a world of knights, magic, alligators in kiddie pools, giant mushrooms, and a friar who lives in a run-down camper because a leopard demon destroyed his church. If that isn't amusing enough to have you hooked, you are to serious for your own good.
OVERALL: 9 - This got added to my Newgrounds favorites, which is no easy task. A well-produced game, fun, and addictive. Has a few little issues, but more than makes up for it in good-ol-fashioned awesome.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go venture behind the rainbow and see what that is all about. (And no, I haven't resorted to the walk-through yet!)
Mausland loves you!!
Great game!
Love the concept! Let's see more like this!
Short and easy, yes, but still good!
I do have to admit though, this is the ONLY submachine game I've ever beaten on the 1st try without so much as looking at the walkthrough. I beat this in 10 minutes, no cheating.
However, for newbies to the Submachine series, this is a great, non-frustrating introduction! And it was pretty fun, too.
Great game, but I have one problem...
...I can't find the god damn "1UP" key on my keyboard :-(
(No, I'm not serious :P)
You literally just made me LOL. XD
pretty good
The music that played sounded amatureish and def ripped off a riff from "Fasten Your Seatbelts" by Pendulum & The Freestylers, but it was a well done game. I like the exploding bricks, couldn't stant to play at slow speed for too long tho.
Well, it doesnt' work.
I tried to click the left mouse button, like the instructions say, and nothing happens. I did it 5 times over. Terrible.
A well-rounded skill game.
I liked this enough to give it a good rating, bu I will share some criticisms:
1. The clock keeps ticking, even though it might take a long time for the shot buzzer to sound. If this game is keeping score based on how quickly we complete tasks and react, why are we penalized because we had to wait 5 seconds for a buzzer to sound? My last run was almost 1500 because I waited for the damn buzzer for so long on level 1! It's either a game of chance or a game of skill, but both seems kind of pointless.
2. The Tutorial would do good to have simple example animations, I was a bit unsure how to do things at first. It is easy enough to figure out, however, but just for the sake of completeness, save the frustration for performing tasks well, not performing them at all. If part of the difficulty of the game is to guess how to do the tasks, why bother attempting to give a detailed explaination of how to play?
Well, enough bad things: This was great as far as scripting skill and animation speed. Was this at 60 FPS? it looked great and ran fast on my slow machine, even in High Quality. You certainly know what you're doing as far as getting results out of Flash in all circumstances, and it is rare to see that. Keep that philosophy in mind and you'll go far! I'm keeping an eye out for your next version of this.
Low rank because it runs to slow for me to play.
I havea slower computer, and there seems to be no option to change the quality. With such a minimal graphics scheme, you'd think it wouldnt' need it, but it bogs on my computer and I can't get a higher score than 410. Fix next version, please!
New tracks coming soon!
